Center open hours are 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday; closed Sunday-Monday. Hours may vary for special events and/or performances.
Charleston Heights Arts Center features a diversity of performing and visual arts programming that includes everything from theatrical performances and gallery exhibitions to modern dance and visual and digital multimedia arts classes. The facility is home to the award-winning Rainbow Company Youth Theatre, the StorySLAM series, and popular spring and summer camps that focus on the dramatic arts and opera. Classes of interest range from group and private dance, visual arts, drama, private music and voice, and sound recording technology. The city of Las Vegas also partners with arts organizations that regularly use the center, such as Vegas City Opera and the Las Vegas chapter of USA Dance.
RAINBOW COMPANY YOUTH THEATRE
Rainbow Company Youth Theatre is a nationally acclaimed, award-winning youth theatre group funded by the city of Las Vegas whose mission is to educate and empower young artists in the community through inclusive, collaborative and professional opportunities in all aspects of theatre. CLASSES, CAMPS & WORKSHOPS
Rainbow Company Youth Theatre provides community classes for students ages 4-17. Our visual arts offerings include Youth Art, Art Making and various monthly workshops like Book Arts and Open Art Studio. Advance registration is required. Drop-ins are welcome based on availability. PRIVATE MUSIC LESSONS
We offer private voice and piano lessons (30 minutes each), held on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.
MULTIMEDIA LAB
The Charleston Heights Arts Center presents our Multimedia Lab. Equipped with six Apple Silicon iMac-based workstations, each with its own Focusrite 18i8 digital interface, Novation MIDI keyboard, studio-grade headphones, and large diaphragm condenser microphone. Our sixth station includes a three-way loudspeaker system with a sub to create a dynamic classroom mixing environment. Classes and workshops are coming soon. GALLERIES & EXHIBITIONS

LIVE PERFORMANCES
Charleston Heights Arts Center is home to the 365-seat Jeanne Roberts Theater. The venue presents performances in theatrical arts, dance, comedy, live music and community events for the entire family, including four Rainbow Company Youth Theatre shows per season with guest artists appearing throughout the year. RENT THE FACILITY
Charleston Heights Arts Center provides opportunities for community artist groups to utilize space for their meetings and programs. These groups are provided with space in our facility, essential equipment like tables and chairs, and support staff. All rental requests will be considered. We ask that all requests be submitted at least six weeks in advance of your desired date. Rental spaces are subject to availability in consideration of regular facility programming and include:

- Ballrooms
- Conference Room
- Dance Studio
Due to the frequency of cultural programming in the facility, our rental availability is limited. We are currently accepting reservations for rentals taking place after June 30, 2025.
