Ensemble

Rainbow_Company_Ensemble-2024.jpg

The Rainbow Company Ensemble serves as the core of our youth theatre programming. Ensemble runs August through May and offers professional-level training to young people, ages 10-18, selected yearly by open auditions. Ensemble is for students who want to learn all aspects of theatre.

Rainbow Company Ensemble functions in two parts. First, Ensemble members are required to attend weekly educational classes that train students in theatre history, performance, technical elements and leadership.
Second, members are required to work all four productions in our season, either in the performing cast or on the technical crew. The costumes, makeup, sets, lights, sound and backstage crew responsibilities are all handled by Ensemble members under supervision of staff along with professional directors and designers.

This nationally recognized program is rigorous and requires a high level of commitment.

Ensemble auditions will be held Jan. 2, 2026, at the Charleston Heights Arts Center.

First production auditions will be held Jan. 3, 2026, at the Charleston Heights Arts Center.
