Youth Sports Leagues

Sports play a particularly important role in the development of our youth.

Welcome to Las Vegas City Sports!

Kids who play youth sports have higher self-esteem, stronger connections with their school, better peer relationships and fewer behavioral problems. The discipline and training needed to participate in sports helps to develop successful adults. Athletes learn the importance of teamwork and of following leadership.

The city of Las Vegas, Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs offers a wide range of youth recreational sports leagues to provide for our youth citywide. Our community-based, family-oriented leagues are designed to provide all children ages 3-14 the opportunity to enjoy a variety of sports, learn new skills and make new friends. Led by dedicated community volunteers, we emphasize the importance of physical health, teamwork and inclusion, creating an environment where every child can thrive and feel welcome.
All leagues are administered by a National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) -certified youth sports administrator to ensure to ensure all programs adhere to established standards of safety, sportsmanship, and positive youth development.
